Sustainable Forestry

Brenco Exotic Woods is 100% compliant with the US Congress Lacey Act. All of our flooring  products are sustainable, purchased from suppliers who have nurseries, using every species of tree in local forests.  We have traveled across Africa to find specific sawmills to work with; only locally owned mills that are utilizing sustainable forestry and respecting local polices of renewable logging management are utilized. Some of our timber is plantation grown and anything that is cut in forest concessions is selectively harvested to promote re-growth. Trees are never harvested if they are seeding, and for every tree that is harvested, one is planted.
